weftron LOUVER_tron^® 512

is a high performance contact insert within the weftron.com product line of
Low Resistance - High Power Contact Elements.
Multiple contact louvers spaced at 0.8 - 1.0mm are crafted in a 12mm wide copper beryllium contact strip. So these contact louvers provide the essentially neccessary spring force required for high performance connections.
Thus introducing precisely defined multiple contact points in the connection when used inbetween two mating conducting surfaces.

Depending on the application LOUVER_tron^® 512 may be used either in flat or in pre-rounded shape. Consequently the number of contact louvers, the associated metal components and the ambient conditions define the electrical performance characteristics of this  high power contact system.
